    Innumerable technologies have been touted as necessary for the dance community to become relevant for a new generation of dance goers, to sustain our companies, and to anticipate the tectonic cultural shifts of our increasingly virtual world. But how do we choose what technologies to embrace or ignore? In this session lead by choreographer and technologist Sydney Skybetter, luminaries from the dance field will discuss the current state of cultural sector tech, next-gen communications strategies, and how to orient your work for the volatility and technologic trends to come. Guest speakers include Ken Tabachnick, Dean of Arts at Purchase College and former Executive Director of The New York City Ballet, Jennifer Edwards, Founding Partner of the Edwards & Skybetter | Change Agency, Thomas Cott, Director of Marketing at the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, and Marc Kirschner, General Manager at Tendu.tv.
