Panel
Werk Collective along with mentors Joe Landini (The Garage) and Christy Bolingbrooke (ODC Theater) present a panel discussion on forming a choreographic consortium — the why and the how. Funding for the arts is continuing to diminish and young choreographers have fewer opportunities then ever to present their work. WERK collective bands together five choreographers who are not waiting, they are presenting themselves. Working as a unit, they are greater then the sum of their individual parts. What are the benefits of coming together in this way? What are the draw backs? What are the challenges they face currently facing? Come hear from the artists of WERK Collective and how such aesthetically diverse artists work and present together.
