In marking 30 years of serving the dance field, Dance/USA will host its 4th annual conference in San Francisco from June 27-30, 2012. Join more than 450 dance professionals for this exciting event that represents the broadest gathering of dance professionals in the US, including executive directors, artistic directors, company managers, choreographers, artists, presenters, agents, and others.
Over four days, participants will engage in invaluable professional and networking opportunities. Sessions will provide experiential hands-on learning paired with examples of successful new models that reflect the field’s entrepreneurial spirit and will inspire new thinking for a vibrant future for dance.
Unlike years past, the 2012 Conference will be campus style to showcase the beauty and diversity of San Francisco’s local arts venues. Conference events will be held at San Francisco City Hall, Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, and ODC. On-site registration will travel with the Conference to these locations. Furthermore, Dance/USA has partnered with three area hotels to provide special rates for conference attendees that will fit every budget.
In addition, attendees will be able to enjoy California’s beautiful Northern City by the Bay. From Golden Gate Bridge and cable cars to incredible dining, shopping, cultural attractions, San Francisco offers something for everyone!
This Conference could not be possible without the generous support of our 2012 Host Committee
Co-Chaired by Wayne Hazzard of Dancers’ Group & Glenn McCoy of San Francisco Ballet, as well as our
2012 Programming Committee Chaired by Harris Ferris of Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre.
